    LOL Lucero!

Mind-bending and clever and a firm slap in the face to all those who say how poetry 'should be written'

You keep doing your own thing - it's great.

    Take care

    Hi Lucero,

Ben is right. This is cleverly written. It disturbs mind in a good way.

It reminded me of a quote from Phil Kaye "If you repeat something over and over again it loses its meaning."

It maybe is true, but in poetry I think repetition add to the aesthetic needs of a poem, it adds structure and to the word play.

But at the same time, repetition prompts me to discern whether a poet stays on the same line of retelling the same story and not challenging himself... too... that dilemma of seeing poetry as a freely and genuinely expressed art form is put into concern.

This piece made me keep thinking. What a treacherous piece. :) I enjoyed it.

Wow. This is as Ben says a clever piece and witty too. Nobody can tell us how poetry should be written. Masterpieces as what they are and here is one. You write how you feel.. People often tell me poems should rhyme but I have found out since coming back and more active on here that poetry doesn't have too and can be,somewhat more appealing if it doesn't.

    A great job. Em

Very true, let us all write what we feel

But if we don't feel anything at least let us all feel what we write... it makes the writing experience better.

I really liked this a lot! It was quite tongue tying to read but a lot of fun too. I see nothing wrong with repeating, obviously the amazing write you just did proves that point.
