One moment
just one moment in time
my breath stopped
the first I saw you
and I knew
a lifetime of moments
Would never be enough
for that one moment
all my dreams became you
surrendering so completely
that wanting you
Overwhelmed everything
but sometimes moments lie
blinded by a heart that
wants only to see
and yet
I would never trade
that one moment
just one moment in time
when you took my
breath away

    This is a beautiful little piece. That yes, this person took your breath away the first time you saw them yet something changed but still you wouldn't change that one moment you net them for anything. Reminded me of a quote 'life is not measured by the breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away.'
