Michael, all i can say about this is it's captivating all the way through and had me on the edge of my seat in some parts (due to the great story telling.)
I love how unique this is and have nominated it because of how it flows perfectly.
    All the best, Em

Thanks Em for taking the time to read this longer than the norm piece. I guess they can be a little off-putting! Also, thanks for nominating. I'd be gob smacked if it featured on the winning thread come Monday.

      Take care,

      Michael

    AWESOME !!

It clearly brought back to the memory the video clip of that free fall i saw on the internet,
but this was seeing it one slide at a time, and each time capturing one more of his expression and thought, the words in your poem makes it more real than the impact of the visual i saw.
    Great work Michael.

    Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Jay - I guess as a writer trying to get into the head of others is part of the enjoyment.

      Take care.

Michael, wonderfully written-for a minute there I thought maybe you had lost your mind and was actually jumping out of a perfectly good airplane-lol. Well done-

Awesome! I was expecting a bad ending. I've only ever been indoor sky diving - it was fun, but I'm not much of a thrill seeker so jumping from an actual plane would be terrifying.

Ah, my eyes! the adrenaline rushing as I read. The view. My inner thoughts, "why jump? Why jump? Don't jump! OH NO, YOU are doommed!"

I have yet to see the youtube video. But I, really like this read.
