Freezing Night

by stormingdance (Lessa)   Aug 16, 2016

Beyond the dark, crisp sky
A howl reverberated through the air.
There was no sight of the moon,
Nor the stars, which suffocated light;
Which damned the possibility of an easy going journey.
It was neither stormy, hot, nor humid;
It was a simple, fiery cold.
The world seemed to be cast into such an oblivion
So horrendously blue; freezing,
That it made everything outside of the blue walls
Vanish from existence.
