    Brenda,
such a sad little piece. I hope this is just writing! Whoever hurt you will have to face the wrath of this tight knit group we have! ;)

It is beautiful however. you have portrayed your emotions well.

    Well done!

Oh Naomi, you are so sweet! No, no, nothing like that. I wanted to try a Palindrome and do it with a twist. Naughty Mouse did such a beautiful love one, I wanted to spin off on the dark side. Thank you sweet girl! Hugs-

This is excellent, clever writing, Brenda. I believe with this form you read it top to bottom then bottom to top? Anyway, that's what I did and I have to say - though it was excellent both ways - I preferred the bottom to top way.
Mind you, I don't necessarily feel like that about everything in life...

(Sorry. This is a continuation of that club 'gutter talk'.)

Thank you so much Ben! You are correct, you should be able to read it both ways...BTW, hubby prefers bottom to top too....more gutter talk lol! Take care- Brenda

Brenda, this is raw, emotional and personal but all too relatable for many (including myself) because I guess we have all wished we have never met a person as they've torn us apart but those people who hurt us make us stronger so we should at least be thankful for that. I have met many toads in my time but hopefully next will be my knight in armour not an idiot in tin foil lol.

    All the best, Em

Thank you so much Em! It's true there are so many idiots in tin foil (love that by the way). Your knight is out there, maybe he's been busy slaying dragons. Hugs-

I find this saying that I know to be true and pertinent to this poem - I think it goes something like ; "sometimes god takes certain people out of our life for our own protection. ..dont chase after them"
I hope you always remember your strength and Never forget your worth, Brenda.

Alissa, thank you so much, how very true. I have learned this the hard way but have learned it for sure.
