Rania, absolutely loved this! All the hurt, anger, sadness and also the recovery is poured into this. We do this all too often, put stock in another only to have our hearts ripped out and yet we continue seeking that "same person" in another. Why is that? Wonderfully done-

This work is your most powerful and painful and yet validating in ages. You strike a perfect balance between mystery and explicit revelation.
The opening (and closing) strikes an image balanced between abandonment and anguish. The middle part, the confessional, is deeper than I have seen in these pages. The last part, the acceptance and progression is heartening and wonderful.
All of these nuances give the closing refrain a more mature interpretation reflecting the growth that allows you to put it behind you.

    Hello Rania,

I can't claim I have read all your poems but I am much eager to. I like the simple deep way you adopt to unleash such complex sentiments. We all have sadness deep inside but being able to put them in words that touch every soul is a great success and for that I congratulate you for your poems and for the soul they reflect. Keep it up :)
