Comments : Words As Weapons

All I can really say about this is that your use of syntax was actually quite powerful and without it I don't think your mood would have been established even half as clearly.

This actually started out as something completely different but in that alcoholic fog it warped into what you now read

Craig, another great write with fabulous rhyming that just seems to be as smooth as glass until it's broken lol. The rhyming is unforced and the content well you hit the nail on the head with the title on this one. Words can be very powerful weapons and usually we say some very hurtful things when we're angry and sometimes we say them without realising the full affect they have.

1/ Loved the opening and the imagery here of the mans words (I assume yours) dancing around to the church bells ringing in the distance. My imagination run away with the bells haha

2/ This is very powerful and I feel here it's about writers block because words came easily before (twisting/moulding them) but now he has no inspiration therefore 'losing his tune.' Mold should be mould here (I really hope you don't mind me saying as I know its difficult on a mobile)

3/ This was my favourite part. The imagery is astounding as I imagine this guy lapping up words like water and then his boat being pierced so he didnt have a leg to stand on or should I say any words to write.

4/ We may not be able to write a complete poem but we can write a little just for release and it'll help somewhat until inspiration comes to us once more.

5/ I have changed my mind this is my favourite part though why I'm not sure. It just caught me unaware.

5/ What an ending. I guess, we would do anything to be able to write even if it meant writing in our own blood, sweat and tears so people can feel our emotion.

Loved this and I will nominate asap.

This was actually started and finished very quickly, as most of my stuff is. When in the right mood things just flow out.

It's quite weird sometimes. If I look in my drafts there are a bunch of titles or an opening line where had an idea but never gotten round to writing the whole thing.

I do have a number of complete ones which I'll post in due course
