    Hello Lucero.

    I suppose by this logic, you could argue that it is the ship (you) who has no choice as you are indeed led by the capital Will. But as the end of the poem suggests, either way, you both float or sink together...

      I think since it's obvious that the ship has no choice, at least it has some captain Will, that ultimately will have no choice either.

      I mean, In order to survive, both, need to help each other.

      If the ship sinks in the turbulent seas, the probability of the captain surviving (if the captain were to choose to jump out of the ship) is little, hence, he has no choice but to guide the ship out of those turbulent seas.

      I guess, the captain is selfish.

      And as far as the ship, if he had no captain it could probabily also sink. Or get stranded. Or who knows.
