THE CASUALTY

THE CASUALTY

Thy name is love.
Whose love you really want?
Your name is not a full word,
It is a word; meant to join
To ensure that the first name lives long

Long enough, to keep leading the voyager
So not, close to end
Even when Death comes with a striking come back

The word keeps leading
On, and on
Until generations of generations to come
Still on pattern
Picking from the toes

Then rise to the head
From there to high
High to sky-high
See the worst world,
With bright, and lightened eyes
Different from the crowd

Not against them,
If they be left
And so I be wright
For us to survive in the rough world,
Its talks so rude
And I be the victim
Off all times.
