Whoa, woke up to this stunning write! Yes, you are right, Larry! And the title is awesome, I have to say it aloud "Give me the grit!" This little, beautiful gem made me smile and definitely made my day. For a lover of haikus, senryus and syntuits, I completely adore this. :-)

How very true this is, Larry. Well-put in its brevity. Excellent use of the format, as well.

Few words but strong meaning. As someone who suffers everyday with pain I can agree. Life can be wonderful when you take it by the hand and live it.

Larry, your work is always so well done that even short pieces are very moving and relatable to atleast one of us here.

Title: this is very intriguing as grit usually means stone/gravel but I looked it up to be certain of the meaning and on urban dictionary there was literally millions of meanings lol so I came to the conclusion that it meant courage or something along those lines.

The content of this is wonderful because the message to me says no matter how you live your life as long as you live it and have fun along the way then who are we to judge etc because we should live with no regret but look to the future though this is not always possible for many of us because of the hands we've been dealt though I do feel that life is what you make it and you've got to take each day as it comes, sometimes living dangerously? and spontaneously!

    Another fantastic write.
    Much love
