    Is nightbook a reference to the same titled album by Einaudi? If not, well you should check it out, it’s really good, some of my favourites on that album are ‘the crane dance’, ‘nightbook’ and both the snow preludes. Sorry, on a tangent. Your use of imagery is superb, and this is testimonial to that; I conjured up images that were a mix between ‘starry night’ and ‘the great wave’, for the first stanza, and the latter stanzas reminded me of a supernovae. I don’t know how else I could best describe it lol.

    Judging comment: The power someone can have over us, with their words, with their heart, with their actions, is an all consuming thing sometimes, and I felt like this piece pulled those feelings right from my heart. I love the flow of this poem, it was original and pulled me in with every word. Awesome job!
