Nams, how many souls live everyday asking these questions...sadly to find no definite answers.

"Not once or twice or even thrice
But enough to make you look saintly when you sin.."

I believe a lot of people can agree with these powerful lines...

    Stay strong and beautiful. :-)

The environment of this world is becoming harsher, and I'm not talking about the ecological, but the mental environment.

People are in anxiety, stress, depression, pain and all the others symptoms of darkness.

The 3rd stanza, where you have mentioned that in a way you have accepted the darkness(pain-the daily mental or physical torture) and now it has become your only hope to live or the other reason you accepted this pain and still keep on suffering because you don't want that person(whom you love or once loved) to look bad in the eyes of the other.

    Deserved to be nominated.

I'm glad this is nominated; it's excellent. The first bit really struck a chord with me: who do we turn to when we feel like this? Family? Friends? The people who should be there to help, first and foremost, aren't always around when we need them, are they? In fact, it seems to me they often make things worse.

    Take care, Naomi.

Could have sworn I'd commented on this. It's strange isn't it that our hardships bring out our best pieces because they are written with such emotion and not much thought has to go into them to make them perfect, if that makes sense.

    Much love
