I could relate to so much of this Alex and I actually just deleted my Facebook account last week for these exact reasons ... I just reached my limit. I feel free!
    A great and relevant write. I'm glad it's nominated ;-) x

I took a long hiatus from writing (both under my will and against it).

But I cannot really ever go away. And sometimes it is hard to truly convey that which you feel, even in spoken word. Writing in general (but more so poetry) is my catharsis.

      Thank you so much.

Alex, nicely done. I have a Facebook account, I rarely look at it and never comment on anything. I'm kinda not sure why I even have one, lol. There's a certain satisfaction of not continually being on a social network. To unplug from that and the drama life tends to throw at us is a good thing. I liked this a lot, gave me a glimpse into your life.

This is fantastic. Social media is a way of hiding behind this mask (like here) because we post what we like, pretend to be happy but aren't etc etc one reason I don't have one. glad this is nominated though
    take care
