A very powerful piece, crammed full of powerful imagery.

I liked this very much in deed. The imagery is wonderful (Dead trees spread too far apart in the desert) (slivers of you in memories) and the theme of lost love resounds. A most enjoyable read. Best wishes Milly x

Milo, a well executed piece. A good start and a better end. This poem has every element a unrequited, yet desired love poem should have.

I don't know but to me it feels like you met someone, spent time with her, a bond of love established and then one day she disappeared and you are still looking for her.
It has been a long time since you last saw her and you tried everything to find her. You covered every distance you could to find her but all you got is the bitter taste of emptiness.

And now you started seeing her in those memories - the pieces of which still left in you, in unexpected moments you have to face with your ex girlfriends, and in gestures of the strangers you never met before.

The only distance, the only enemy standing between you and her is the time. In spite of all these difficulties you faced you didn't quit because somewhere in your heart you knew that one day you would find her for sure. But time is something you can't control, it's slipping from your hands.

Sometimes you feel like the more you continue, the more you find the pain. But she is the reason you never quit and you don't wish to do so. Love is hard to find but she is the one brightly shining your soul, showing you the path and motivating you to continue this journey on an endless desert of space and time.

    All the best!
