The loss of love seems always more painful than the cut of a knife. The more we feel love the more devastating its loss. One thing I have learned over the years (and I hope that this brings some comfort) Is that no matter what you feel you have lost... If you are the type of person who has love in your heart to give then there will always come your way someone else for you to love and who will love you back in the most surprising ways and when you least expect it.
