With that refrain, I found myself almost strumming my bashed up old acoustic guitar to this.
Great write, Kitty, with a different feel altogether about it.

Thanks so much Ben - not my usual style, but it needed purging! :-) x

It bloody hurt me! :p
lol ... "sorry" :-) xx
Miss Kitty :)
this is great, and its funny some times that we wait for that moment (whatever it may be) and it doesn't always happen so to speak! Glad to see this on the board
Thanks Michael ... yeah it was weird ... like I didn't know what to do with the prepared emotion that wasn't used - it's still floating around I think! lol :-) x

Wow. This is a wonderful piece. Although not your usual rhyming style it is absolutely perfect. It portrays the internal dilemma on how you expect to feel and how you actually feel in such a situation and it is spot on. Well done on a great write.
Aw Milly, it's lovely to see you here and thanks so much for your lovely comments :-) x

The line 'it didn't hurt much at all' to me seems as though it hurt alot not sure how to describe it but I'm sure you know what I mean
Lol. It used to hurt a lot and I braced myself for the final bit hurting a lot too, but it didn't, it only hurt a little bit. See? :-) x
This spoke to me! And I think it applies to so many situations in life that we find ourselves afraid to let go of.
