Mother Earth's Warning

by Anonymous   Aug 10, 2018

This is not done, I just thought of this on the way to work this morning... it needs a lot of work. I've only speant ~20 minutes on this.

The earth is alive and she breathes
Her breath exists in a breeze
She sees with her eyes in the sky
She speaks and she thinks and she bleeds

Her blood is drawn from her veins
It's spilled in the soil and the seas
The oil is burned to obtain
Money and power and engergy

She cries and she wants and she needs,
We neglect to accept her plea
We abuse her and use her for greed
We deny her a stage to be seen

Her rage should feared yet we don't,
She is angry and and hot

She speaks with the sun and the moon,
And the stars and the planets alike,
