Another sad, poignant piece Miss Dagmar. Your ink spills from your heart once more, and all so true.

Strong words Dagmar. It is so true, this world is tipping and I don't know if it's going to be able to right itself.

I thought the first three lines were disconnected from the whole piece, and it’s as if you wanted to write a different poem at the beginning. I’m glad you didn’t, because, this, in it’s simplicity, is really lovely and poignant. It doesn’t really step into metaphor, or abstract imagery too much.

    One slight thing:

"I be home for Christmas ".

The homeless are eager to start a fire
they've had their share of pain and suffer,‘

Shouldn’t it be ‘I’ll be home for Christmas’?

And ‘had their share of pain and suffering’ or ‘had their share of pain, and suffer’?

    A lovely write. :)
