    S
    This piece will hopefully inspire those to speak out when they need to.

    This verse;
    " I was born into a time where my enemy was myself.
    I had been taught it was wrong, I was wrong,
    I was broken."
    In particular. Yes you were born into a time where we were told this is your lifes expectations now make it happen.. and i dont think many of us did. We as a generatiom decided enough was enough. We called the older ones on their beliefs as they did the generation before them.
    You are correct - the way we change is through noise. Using our voices to stand up..

    Well done on a fantastic write.. wish i could nominate

    Bravo. It is very important to stand up for what you believe and that your voice is heard. I am from a generation (born in the 50's) where speaking your mind was a crime. I did not care and I have been teaching my children and grandchildren to speak up. We have to do it in a constructive way however. The only way we can change something is by raising our voice. Add to my favorite and thank you for sharing. All the very best to you.
