Schizophrenic Love

by Dr. Aejaz Mehboobi   Mar 23, 2019

Man must make run the 'errands'
To escape from the the noise that invades
Shocking nights and knocking brains
A gentle caress with my feeble hands
Is like schizophrenic! O'Lord beside me
the heart that weep like rains
Out of Eden, all that shines, fades
World, an Imposter? like the 'mirage'
that masquerades
I almost wish i could live but for ever
In this world of chains
For me it's more than Shangri-la
The Virgins and servants and fountains it contains
Wish i could feel YOU or shed
a tear of pains.
O' Lord, tell me that YOU love me
And whisper, that we both are twains.
But at least, set me forward like a weather vane
To pass beyond the waves full of
aches and pains.
