Is this lines from different songs? I'm not sure, just a few seemed slightly familiar. Anyway, I have feathers in my hair so you captured me there :)

I am a big fan of the native culture and I love their ceremonies. Some of my friends are Indians and their cheekbones gives it away. I used to wear feathers in my hair when it was longer. Their tradition to me is so original and they carry so much wisdom. I used to live across the river in North Carolina. Pembroke to be exact.

I like the term 'cheekbone beauty'
Thanks for the footnote, it's a lovely insight to you. X

I love this, it’s like a small part I’ll find in a book that I would like to read. I love the fact that it is short yet leaves me with a lingering feeling of joy.
Two thumbs up from me ^_^

Beautiful imagery Dagma this is a lovely portrait of the magic of these people.

I visited the Mashantucket Pequet Museum in Connecticut on my road trip a few years ago. It takes you through the history of the natives in that area from stone age right through to today and how they adapted and were able to buy back at least some of their lands and support their people despite all odds. I think that they have an amazing culture so much more in tune with animals and nature and a deep set wisdom and sense of honour and strength that many other cultures lack. Has to go to my favourites. Milly x
