I mean, by stanza one, it seems like you asked her to be your girl friend and you didn’t get a yes. The word “affirmative” prompted me that. Then by third stanza, it looks like you never had the courage to ask her. So all of it just happened in your dreams? Thank you for sharing. With the “you”, I am not referring to anyone in particular. I’m just using it to refer to who ever is the narrator in the poem.

A secret admirer. Dreaming about having her as my gf but i never got the guts. Didn't have the courage to send letters that were already written. Years later, as i found my soulmate and the girl i had a crush with before slowly fades away in my memory. However, am still thankful that she appeared in my teenage time and that she somehow colorized and beautified my life.
