Two Strangers in a Crowd

by Walter   Aug 11, 2019

It was all so innocent
The way that you would smile
Your voice that starts to slow
After talking for a while

The way you hold your stare
Whenever our eyes would meet
And only look away
When blush felt on your cheeks

Your warmth that radiates
I see your blood begin to flow
Watching you transform
As your skin now starts to glow

We're both caught in silence
It's our bodies that now speak
This universal language
Which is raw and so unique

As we come to our senses
And both step off our cloud
Back into reality
Two strangers in a crowd
