A Dance with Fairies

I walk through the lake of dreams,
Beneath the twinkling stars of hope,
Under the blanket of a dark moonlit sky.

I surround myself with the water,
Moving deeper and further,
Feeling the cold chills of each splash.

I want to go deeper and forget the pain,
let myself fall into the depths of the lake,
But I turn around and walk back.

I sink my feet into the soft sand and sing,
Releasing my pain through the power of a song,
Dancing with the fairies under the moonlight.

"Dance with me, oh sweet fairies,
Dance with me and let us be free,
Sing and dance all night long,
Tonight it will be just you and me."
