A fair lust

A fair lust

Once a fox lived in a daisies field
It hunted and built there its den
And all went well for the yield
Of that place was well but then

A morn, it catched a nearby smell
Of a growing rose array
To which the fox strongly fell
And it went all the way

Leaving the den and its ground
It framed a new home
There it would live and hunt
In that sweet scented loam

A day came when hunting a rat
Our fox hit some thorns thick
Bled with pain, it stopped and sat
The rat was lucky and quick

After that long painful day
A fear from thorns did grow
Neither food,- nor prey
To the injured fox did show

Then a daisy came to its mind
And an old yet rich field
A land that was ripe and kind
Which it rejoined and healed
