You're Still My Valentine

by Walter   Feb 13, 2020

A look, a smile, a voice, a pause
A moment shared becomes the cause
A hope, a dream and time we spend
You're to become my closest friend

A movie with dinner and unaware
That so much time with you I share
A moon light walk as we both roam
Eventually arriving to your home

A silent moment at your front door
Our eyes staring and needing more
Your skin, your warmth as we touch
Like nothing we could want so much

Where we can't help as our lips kiss
Knowing it won't stop at this
Your keys fumbling with the lock
As if a race against the clock

Though this was all so long ago
You're still the only one I know
My feelings now are just as dire
You'll always be my one desire

No-one I would ever want more
You're the only girl that I adore
And in my heart you'll always shine
Please say you're still my Valentine...
