It's quite incredible how the world has been turned on its head over the last few months, isn't it? We have been completely blindsided and were entirely unprepared for anything of this magnitude.
Personally, although it is at the moment, i cannot accept this as the new normal; it's too bleak and depressing to even contemplate just how long this could last.

Try and stay cheered, Brenda. This will pass.

Hi Ben! It is crazy how things have changed so much. I guess after being laid off for 6vweeks I was totally unprepared to have my manager move me to a totally different desk and totally new job duties. I think that with the current times set me over a new edge. I'm getting back into a routine at work with my new jobs and thankfully some of my original stuff. I almost left, it was that jarring. I'm really trying to balance my changes and this current craziness going on. It gets harder as you get older, yes, I did say that. This made me realize I'm not all that young anymore, sigh....thank you Ben-

Hopefully a temporary new normal. I think you capture the feelings held by an awful lot of people at the moment.

Miss Brenda, a heartfelt piece that i am sure resonates with many. the truth is we all experience this 'odd' virus on a personal note. I for one miss my children so, so very much. We can only hope for an end to this awful plague! I hope you are well and stay safe. By the way a wonderful piece of writing lady :)

This virus has left people devastated...too many lives lost and too many jobs too. And the risk still persists! People are still dying! Stay safe and well. You've penned this so beautifully.
