    Your verses read like lyrics to me, and the repetition of "I know where I'm going" brought about such a sense of peace. Even if we don't have a specific place or location in mind next, there's that ability to realize what is worth walking toward.

    There's confidence, strength, and hope in this. Some great lines, especially "the desert of your acceptance" and the significance of finding the water and getting out. The town shows me there is a world beyond this person, and that they are no longer your lifeline. You can survive and move on and be alive and feel new things on your own, or sparked by someone new.

    The whole idea and theme of remembering yourself was profound through each line. Well done!
