Waking Up To You

While you are sleeping
Lying still in the night
I only sense your breathing
Just before the morning light

As the sun peaks through the window
And illuminates your skin
You slowly start to glow
Like a flame that burns within

Until every shining ray
Reflects from all your curves
The way you start to shine
Is all that I observe

Almost as if you sense
The calling of sunrise
So delicately I am greeted
As you open up your eyes

A smile that starts to form
Coming both from me and you
I can't tell if I'm dreaming
Or if my dreams have just come true
