We

by Mrs. Adams   Oct 27, 2020

Been thinking about us
All night
Wondering if we're still
Worth the fight
The connection we have
Is starting to fade
To the point where we
Just yell at each other
We no longer communicate
We don't want to accept
That lately it's been
More pain than joy
More tears than smiles
Feels like
We are fighting a war
And neither one of us
Wants to throw in the towel

Relationships can feel like that sometimes - a fight. And it isn't until the metaphorical bell rings for the end of the bout that you can both stand back, take a breather and see the mess you have made of each other.

    Take care
