I love how this describes both the literal imagery of sun-bleached skeletons and the metaphorical imagery of losing ourselves in the wind. It read for me like it was describing the world's tendency to go wherever they are blown while they slowly shrivel away because they are lost. Love it.

The title drew me in straight away. The death/loss and grieving themes are a plenty, aren't they?
These forms narrow and trialing (I don't know if they have a name?) Are affective when showing a, pondering thought process. They also work well with this site. It seems long drawn out poetry can, at times, be overlooked. So your poem, nicely laid out, easy to read and digest. The metaphors are pleasing and bring clear images and understanding. We can so easily look inward when fear drags the curtains closed. Isolation may well protect, but we are social creatures and denying what we are just, well, it feels like death beneath our sands.

    Nice work and stay safe.
