These Feelings

It's the feelings you get
thats hard to explain
When you can't get him
out of your mind
And you know your life
won't ever be the same

When you look at night
and imagine him in your bed
When you can close your eyes
and still see him in your head
When you get butterflies
just seeing him
When you sit by the phone
hoping he'll make it ring

It's the feelings you get
when nothing matters anymore
When you'd give almost anything
for it to be him,
knocking on your door

You get these feelings
for the person you adore
You get these feelings
for the person you'd give up your life for

If you feel this way about someone
Don't let them leave
Because you never know
If you and that person were meant to be
