This sonnet's opening sings of sonnet 18 by Shakespeare, then goes on to portray Someone perhaps based on your grandmother. It's a beautiful poem, with flawless rhymes throughout. It's wonderful.

I love this so much. Makes me think of my own grandma. Especially because she always loved planting flowers. She always planted yellow and pink roses and they always remind me of her. <3

I love this! So glad I came across this, it would have been my own grandmother’s birthday on 28th December and I feel this piece describes her so well. I feel this would be a great tribute to all our grandmothers no longer with us but always remembered, I for sure would buy a card with this verse on it!

Thank you so much! It will be almost two years since my grandma passed away. I miss her too. I wrote this thinking of her.
