    like many things, the sun's rays are taken for granted, especially in the summer months. But here we are in Winter and now her rays are precious. To miss out on such a treat is definitely, not alright!

    This could of course be a metaphor for people who bring sunshine into our lives. In these restricted times, these rays of sunshine are not to be missed.

    Lovely little piece and nice to read something from you again!

    I found myself relating to this piece in the sense of the sun being any happiness, and the need to shut it out through choice in case it gets in and leads to heartache, that constant battle of never seeking happiness because safety can lie in the darkness at least.
