UNSUNG SONNET #3

by Mohamed Mubeen   Apr 12, 2021

Cold heart of mine tamed and turned to melted ice,
When I see your beautiful brows above those exquisite eyes!
My frowned forehead now flutters with folktales --
And fairytales. Wish to sip some amative ales,
From the part where you sipped from your lips,
Learnt the meaning of 'romance' when I lie on your laps,
And staring at your robust rosy cheeks where you blush.
Beautifully than any dancing dandelion, please, milady hush --
Me with one sweet kiss from your lips and love from your heart,
Before that woman in a black vile kisses my soul, either short --
Or lived long I, sure about one thing my dear damsel,
Happy my life is and satisfied my soul is, like a pearl inside a shell,
Feel so safe when you embrace and make me feel like I'm your belonging,
My beloved, I know not where you are now, with love, for you, I'm longing...
