    aches and pains are real, I growl
    get up and go has taken a bow
    eating and sleeping are all I have now

      in times like this, I wish I was an owl
      to stay awake at night without a fear or foul
      just awake to hoot at the moon and growl
      But I’m too tired, my eyes won’t ever allow
      for me to keep them open past midnight, I doubt
