Sam the pup was
Understandably small.
Playing his heroes was
Ever so important -
Rescuing sticks from
Harm
Eating hazardous biscuits...
Really this hero business was
Okay

A heartfelt acrostic, as always! And I'd also say that you're already a superhero, just by how understanding and compassionate you are on here. That last line made me feel the most, that reminder to just keep hanging on, even if we don't know if things will get better or not, someone will be there for us to shoulder some of that pain.
