I love the repetition in the lines, like the echoes around the desert. Actually, I don't think I've ever dreamt of being in a desert, or travelled to one - at least, not that I recall. I also like the spaces you've put between the sentences - inadvertently or otherwise, it adds to the empty atmosphere of a desert.
I enjoyed the concept/context of the poem. I agree with how you didn't name it - it, again, adds to the endless desert atmosphere. And I like the fact that you didn't capitalize the ' i 's in the middle of sentences.

sorry, i have such a food brain and a sweet tooth. I like the echo sound of my pudding bowl when it's empty, it says, 'i'm ready for seconds!'
