The opening to this poem is powerful, but I like how the end is much more gentle. Short pieces like this that pack a punch and get a strong message across are something I find to be awesome. Even better is that it isn't the type to be limited by just one interpretation. 5 different people could read this and leave with 5 different interpretations and be affected in 5 different ways.

As Maher said, the opening is so forceful and powerful, but it ends so gently, as if you've used up all your energy and are only left with the questions you need to ask. Glad it's been nominated for the weekly contest!
