Blue Screen

Exploration — let’s let the landscape watch us making love
Explosion — spread your charms all the way to the horizon
Destination — I’ll be your eyes and ears and you my conscious
Costly decision — open the gateways of hell and heaven

My words on paper, my mind in turmoil
The spectrum of the moon pecks your refection
I await you, in full bloom, behind this blue screen

Satire or hyperbole, it makes no difference
You’ll still go out on picnics and trips without telling me
I feel your steps everywhere and your giggles right by me
It’s not enough to forget my melancholy

It's a date that never ends with you
Here, take a hug, poetry!
I give you a month you give me no boundaries
I tell you I wait during the whole solstice and you still won’t dare

It’s just an on and cycle of false hopes, turning my love into broken fragments
I get that you are as taciturn as the moon
But my soul is yours and I need you with me
The prose ends here sadly with no story
