Hole In The Heart

by Satish Verma   Sep 12, 2021

It was all white.
You wanted to see the interruption
by black rocks.

In frost you don't
leave footprints, do not
reach anywhere.

A facial deviation
separates the primates from
enlightened beasts.

Stones won't roll
today. Bystanders would not
pickup the fallen.

The unarmed question?
marks fall flat. There was
no ready answer.
