    by Poet on the Piano

The only feeling I have after reading this is one of being utterly and blissfully content. This poem is so cozy. I think the routines and traditions near this time, like hot chocolate and watching or listening to certain holiday specials, can possibly be overlooked or taken for granted. Sometimes I don't realize till later how much of a comfort it was, then I miss the moments when they're no longer close. And having that person feel safe in your arms, and you in return feel the same, is moving. Especially when someone is relaxed and happy in that moment, and there's that peace, of everything being right in the world and in your heart. Beautiful.
