Love Flows

by Walter   Oct 18, 2021

Love is like a river flow
The way it turns you'll never know
Merging at the highest peak
Then meandering to a creek

But sometimes crashing in between
Where rapids try to break the stream
Twist and turns between the rocks
Testing all the strongest locks

Suddenly you might face the wall
But can't avoid a waterfall
Feeling helpless as you drop
Coming to a complete stop

If you have survived this far
Wearing all your battle scars
When no more that you can take
You'll find that you have formed a lake

And this is what resembles love
Formed from all the grief above
The highest mountain you will climb
But true love stands the test of time
