This is a very good read! I like the new twist on an old theme! Give us some info on the background of this poem and how you came to write it. Are you in a poetry club?

It is based off a gift meant for someone special. She has a love for stars. So I named two stars after us but I never gave her the gift. But they were binary stars/twin stars. Slightly different but I felt like we were very similar to how those stars form. Our similarities related to the twin stars which are born from the same gases and dust while we had a center of gravity like binary stars, something pulling us back together. The named stars are in the Phoenix constellation. Resembled two things for me: how we both have been through hell and back but came out on the other side and that our love was reborn from ashes. The poem almost wrote itself. But no, not a part of a poetry club.
