Beautiful You

You are to me like water in the desert,
When I'm fed up with everything,you keep me going
Keeping me sane in this mirage of an existence

You are to me like air to the lungs,
without you I'd die gasping for your beauty
As repetitive as the waves touch the shore
you shall be on my mind forever more

You are the laughter amongst sadness
straying my mind away from the pain
a true angel amongst devils
in this life that's so hard to bare

True love was once an enigma
but I've solved this riddle...
You were the answer

Though I know not the meaning of life,
I know that you are a part of mine forever more
and I want no other,
just beautiful you
