I have missed seeing you on here! I've re-read this poem a few times already because there is so much in it. The pleas, the way it reminded me of disassociation, and the last lines bringing that sense of unease. It is incredibly hard to "be" when we have perhaps the comforts of a physical home and what surrounds us, yet we don't feel at home within our mind, a place we desperately want to be a safe haven.
