Death Shall Skim Your Lips

by Tara-Kay   Mar 3, 2023

Lead me with your cliche's,
And let a whisper skim your lips.
Enshroud me like wind that hasn't blown
as it settles upon your fingertips.

Tremble with every hard fought breath,
As you lie upon the ground,
Decent into the darkness
And let it derail you as you are found.

Let that whisper skim your lips
as you tremble with every breath,
Take it all in as the walls begin to cave,
Close your eyes and welcome...

Death.
