Beautiful

We give private thoughts a place to hide and rest with in us, thoughts and feelings we protect like jewels of value, things we dare not share with others, so we cherish them in silence

I got a lot from this, for me speaking of inner thoughts and worries of expressing these for fear something maybe lost or irreversibly changed should they be known. Maintaining fragile control over our feelings and protecting those close.

Always enjoy a short read that I feel I have the time to read multiple times to get better personal understanding from. For me this reads like two people who have fallen in love, but have been hurt by love before and are afraid to commit. Resurrecting the ability to trust people is very overwhelming and never easy.
