poetic pick up lines

i am not consistent here, except for maybe on you

when i am brave enough, one day i will tell you what each of my scars mean

i do not wish to be perceived ever but i will not quit until i have mapped you

i’m scared of existence, until you're real to me

i live for fire and ice and for shelter and pain, i am sure i can take the extremes

stolen each word and pick pocketed each rhyme, you could melt me straight into the ground

/2: with you i shatter in all dimensions, i multiply, i take on shapes like water

i care for you/love you in a way that's innately mine, and at the same time i try to care for/love you in a way that's comfortable to you

who are you when no one is watching? are you a wreck of all your insecurities and anxieties or a flower halfway through lessons learnt? are you a dancing breeze playful with the leaves or a grey sky that has a lot to speak? are you a dreamer? or an over thinker? or a creator with dreams to fulfil? are you a waterfall? or a gleaming sun? or a crescent moon in a dark night? how about that weather…

i want you… but how will i have you?

head bent in worship at a smaller altar, i did so much more. perhaps this altar can be holy too

your heart was dipped in ancient gold, with frozen eyes transfixed in time. ripped from the god's sigh, sent to set the world on fire

hey, can i ask you for a favor? yeah, um, i’m an aspiring writer and i really need some help with this romance i’m writing. the problem is… i haven’t experienced true love before. so, could you help me? thanks

 don’t ever do #13, that’s gross

did you fall from heaven? because you seem to be a chaotic ever shifting sphere of eyes and wings, with your voice making a sound not of this earth, and i’m kind of hoping god sent you because this is terrifying

i be like “i know a place” and take you into my dreams

they say all imperfections magnify when you look close. but how do i tell them that even as a kid i looked for shaky veins on discolored leaves

summer built a home inside of us but we haven’t seen the light of day in years, until this

there’s a couple people i would like to sit in a room with and have a conversation for hours at a time: charles bukowski, robin williams and you
