Dancing in the Moonlit Night

by Oscar Auliq-Ice   Nov 1, 2023

I sit beneath the stars,
The cityscape in sight,
The streets pulse with energy,
Neon lights so bright.
Summer's vibrant hum,
Echoes through the night,
The jazz band's tune,
Captures the city's light.

Autumn will be here,
A season of gentle sighs,
When streets wear a golden hue,
Under twilight skies,
The cats prowl the alleys,
With mystery in their eyes,
Their silent stories,
Filled with stealthy ties.

A siren wails afar,
From the heart of the city's thread,
Echoing its nightly tales,
Stories better left unsaid.
Dreams of moonlit dances,
Play in my head,
Eager for summer nights,
And the magic they spread.
